This straw can withstand the same temperature as a standard plastic straw while its within its use life. This means that it can be used like any other plastic straw. It can be heated up to the same melting temperature as a standard polypropylene straw before it starts to melt.

A unique aspect of our technology is that it produces zero microplastics, making it a more environmentally friendly option. The straws are independently tested to meet the stringent BSI PAS 9017 standard for biodegradable plastics in the open terrestrial environment.
