This isn't your ordinary straw. It is made with Lyfecycle
biotransformation technology

This straw can withstand the same temperature as a standard plastic straw while its within its use life. This means that it can be used like any other plastic straw. It can be heated up to the same melting temperature as a standard polypropylene straw before it starts to melt.

Our straws are made from entirely safe, food-grade materials and meet all necessary safety certifications. A unique aspect of our technology is that it produces zero microplastics, making it a more environmentally friendly option. The straws are independently tested to meet the stringent BSI PAS 9017 standard for biodegradable plastics in the open terrestrial environment.

Lyfecycle technology is made from a combination of specific ingredients, that are formulated to suit the unique characteristics, use life, and end-of-life requirements of the plastic products they are applied to. The formulation ensures that the plastic can fully biodegrade when exposed to natural environmental conditions, transforming into an earth-friendly wax that is then digested by microorganisms without leaving behind microplastics or toxins
